SmallTime - The Movie
So most of you know that we've been excited about seeing SmallTime on the big screen today at the premiere showing of his/her first feature-length documentary - "SmallTime, the Ultrasound." Well, fans weren't disappointed as they got a sneak peek at what the kid has been up to in the belly. We saw two legs, two arms, little hands, kidneys, a spine, 4 chambers in the heart, and the rib cage coming together. BUT, in a coy attempt to keep us coming back for more, our little one decided to do a classic yoga hand stand pose (Salamba Sirsasana) and keep his/her head hidden way down below where the technician could not possibly come in for a close-up shot.
We did a little walk, moved around and came back 3 times to try to see if we could catch SmallTime in a different pose and no luck. Which just goes to show you that s/he is exactly like both his/her parents - stubborn!
Soooo...we will go back on Wednesday for "SmallTime, the Sequel." This time the technician hopes to get a clear picture of the head so we can determine SmallTime's exact measurements.
So far so good, however, and everything looks healthy; and for those of you who requested autographed photos, you'll have to wait a little while longer while we sort out the 8x10 glossy headshots.
Thanks Aunty Tara for having us over this evening. We had so much fun playing with Super-Sophie, and we came home with a suitcase full of maternity clothes. We really are very lucky to have such wonderful friends looking out for us! We've also put all of SmallTime's S.America gifts in his/her own little suitcase. Looks like SmallTime is slowly moving in!
